Our workplace dust extractors are bespoke extraction systems, they remove delicate by-product substances such as wood dust, and chips from the workplace air and environment. Our systems extract the waste in different ways depending on your project needs. Our most popular workplace dust extractors remove the waste using fans to move the by-products into the capture hoods.
Often we find that removing the waste product at the origin of source is the most safe and efficient way of managing the problem. Once the workplace dust extractor system has removed the waste product from the origin of source, the dust must be conveyed via a ducting system.
The ducting system must be correctly designed to meet the needs of the product, so that a continuous air velocity is maintained, suspending the dust in constant motion for transportation through to the collection chamber. It's really important to get the duct size correct, getting the wrong size can lead to material settling in the duct system, this can in turn causes clogging and then onto further blockages. Once this is complete the dust is collected within the filtration system. Depending on the dust type and application the filters can range from basic bag filters through to our Nanoweb filter cartridges.
